What quality do you value most in a friend?

The trait I value most in a friend is loyalty. A loyal friend embodies all the qualities needed to be a close companion. In my life, I have had a few best friends, and each time I do, I feel grateful and fortunate because true best friends are scarce, akin to finding everything one desires in life.
